Dr. Jayson Milner, the owner of Brickell Chiropractic & Wellness, knew he wanted to be a chiropractor from an early age. After he sustained a football injury in his teens, he sought out help from doctors. After receiving Chiropractic care for his injury, he was inspired to pursue a career in Chiropractic.
He grew up in Puerto Rico where he graduated high school. He then attended the University of Florida where he majored in Exercise and Sports Science with an emphasis in Fitness and Wellness. He later went on to attend National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, IL where he attained his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree.
Dr. Milner has been a licensed chiropractor in Florida for the past 11 years. In 2012, he opened in Brickell, with the intent to have his practice serve as many people as possible. When he is not working, Dr. Milner enjoys staying active with sports, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and going to various seminars to expand his professional knowledge.
Dr. Jude Alcide, the new associate at Brickell Chiropractic & Wellness, comes from a diverse background in healthcare and is passionate about taking great care of patients, volunteering, and remaining engaged within the community. He has over a decade of experience working as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and Athletic Trainer in Gainesville, FL. With an emphasis on holistic medicine, Dr. Jude combines evidence-based practice and clinical experience to deliver effective, personalized care. He incorporates physiotherapy and rehabilitation principles to address acute and chronic deficits. Also, with exposure abroad in India, Dr. Jude gained more experience and knowledge to better recognize the effects of Western influences on lifestyle diseases.
Originally South Florida natives, Dr. Jude Alcide, and his family now call South Florida home again after relocating from Gainesville, FL June 2018. In Gainesville, Dr. Jude served as a Lecturer at the University of Florida (teaching Physiology and Prevention & Care of Athletic Injuries courses) and Chiropractor in his practice.
